This is the website shelf page for docs/ps1/archaeology/retired-scripts/README.md.
It exists because the project has hundreds of Markdown files and the website
should not pretend the interesting work only happened in the polished essays.
Why this file matters
Archaeology source. This file belongs to the history layer: source maps, assumptions, memory notes, and retired artifacts that explain why the current design looks the way it does.
These scripts belonged to the 2026-03-29 .. 2026-04-11 binary-library regression era (see ../timeline.yaml and ../tools.yaml). They are preserved here as historical archaeology per ../../ps1-branch-cleanup-plan.yaml phase04 archivecandidates. They are not invoked by the current operator workflow.
