16,900. That’s how many rupees I collected during my time with the newest Legend of Zelda game. It told me, as the credits screen rolled past. It struck me then, two dozen hours into an epic quest, A Link Between Worlds is a triumph. I didn’t need a gigantic pile of rupees to tell me though, it absolutely dripped with quality from start to finish. Nintendo has somehow managed to capture the essence of the original SNES Link to the Past, as well as add a few new twists to the classic gameplay.
I wrote a fable when I awoke this evening. It wasn’t perfect, but it’s out there and I like it. How then, will I track and improve it, sharing it with others? How would we know fables if they had not been shared? Where will our new fables come from? So I’m open-sourcing my fable. Your move Peter Molyneux.

I’ve finally figured out what folks can do with those 4-year old Android phones, and I’ve just finished writing up version .01! Announcing my newest “pet project” AutoRoboIntercom!
I’ve been pretty far ahead of the trends before, even starting a few trends when it comes to hacking and mobile devices. When I saw this it made me smile. Looks familiar? Let me super-impose a couple of photos real quick…
I rarely make public predictions about where technology is going, but I was just struck by a thought I felt compelled to share. Here’s a prediction for 2014:
Beyond: Two Souls (B:TS) is an emotionally charged supernatural horror game from the makers of Heavy Rain. Do the high production values and deeply emotional plot deliver on the game’s lofty pedigree, or is this a rare low-point in the catalog of Quantic Dream?
Saints Row: The Third is a top-notch AAA experience, and a worthy sequel to Saints Row 2. Does it manage to surpass it’s predecessor, or does it get bogged down in the over-the-top ridiculousness of the Third Street Saints?
